A gorgeous morning, made better by what happened last night!

HIGH WELLS won at Sandown in the Hersham Handicap 1M6f. A fabulous result for the team at Martins Hill, especially Mark who has filled us with confidence from the minute High Wells came back into training. Always nice to get winners and even better to get two inside 10 days of each other. Hopefully more this weekend? Shane Kelly gave High Wells a brilliant ride and we were all thrilled.

High Wells was fine this morning and enjoyed a morning in the paddock, rolling in the sun.

High Wells in the paddock this morning

We have three runners this weekend, one on the flat and two over jumps.

HOMING STAR runs at Bath tomorrow, Shane Kelly takes the ride. Homing Star ran at Bath last week and was probably unlucky in running. She is down to a winnable mark and hopefully can run well.

On Sunday FLEETING VISIT and THE DISTANT LADY run at Southwell. Fleeting visit has been running on the flat since the resumption of racing and has been fairly consistent. A switch back to hurdles can hopefully see him put in a good effort. The Distant Lady is also a consistent mare, she never really got her ground in the winter and we hope she’ll appreciate a sounder surface.

Here are some more pictures from his morning…
