A beautiful start to the day, although a cold breeze…

Hannah Bishop was in this morning to visit Ask Ben, Passing Shadow and Elk Bridge. Hannah is the racing manager for Liz Prowting, it was great to see Hannah, we wish her and Liz the best of luck with all of their horses this season!

Talking this season… Today is regarded by many national hunt racing fans to be the first day of the season. The two day meeting at Chepstow certainly does seem attract a higher calibre of jumps horse. We can’t wait to get going with our winter horses. You can see a picture of Ami Desbois on our social media accounts today!

Last night we ran Londonia at Southwell, he ran well. ‘Lennie’ is a super consistent horse, he could do with coming down a few lbs but he ran his race. All well this morning.

At Sedgefield Eyeofthescorpion bumped into a well handicapped horse. He’ll probably benefit from stepping back up in trip. Still a horse to follow!

No runners today although we attend to run Sammylou at Newton Abbot on Sunday.

We have a handful of entries for next week at Huntingdon and Hereford…

We are almost at the time of year to produce one of our ‘Ask The Team’ videos. I’m sure the team will be thrilled to tip their horse to follow for the season. To be fair to them, many of them tipped future winners last season. A video you don’t want to miss! You can watch last years video HERE.

We will also be releasing a Martins Hill Mercury this week… Keep your eyes pealed!

Here are some pictures of this morning…
