Well to start, Happy New Year to all of you!

2020 had it’s struggles and lets hope for a change of fortunes this year. At least the horses were running well. We enjoyed lots of success on the racecourse, it’s credit to our loyal owners for keeping the horses in training during the suspension, they were rewarded!

We looked back and created a montage of our year, a positive video to keep spirits up during this difficult time. You can watch that video HERE.

Thanks again to all of our owners, staff and supporters of the yard. Without all of you these winners would not be possible.

We had lots of snow this week which is far from ideal. It saw the abandonment of the New Years Day fixture at Cheltenham, usually a great day out. We did plan to run Exploiteur there, he was also due to run at Chepstow. Unlucky to lose both meetings.

We had also planned to school much of the younger horses on the grass, but due to the frozen ground we’ve had to wait. Hopefully todays sun will help, although driving in this morning it was -1 degrees.

We haven’t posted on the blog for a while, but to be honest there hasn’t been an awful lot to report, we haven’t had a runner for two weeks. Mainly due to the ground and abandoned meetings. We should have a few runners next week though. Exploiteur, Flann, Ami Desbois, Aviewtosea, Phillapa Sue and Ratfacemcdougall all have entries!

It was a stunning morning on the gallops today, the sun was shining… Here are some pictures…
