Monday, 27th July 2020 | Heavy Rain | 14°

We’ve been treated to some stunning summer mornings recently, today was not one of them! It’s been raining non stop all morning and it’s meant to for most of the day.

We’ve said it before, it’s never nice riding out in these conditions, even the waterproofs start to fail eventually. Thanks to the team here for getting their heads down and working through it.

It was a great weekend of racing and although the King George only had three runners, it didn’t disappoint. Enable and Frankie were awesome. It is fantastic to see a horse perform at the top level season after season. Thats why we love jump racing, you see the same horses come back and challenge each other in the big races.

The Galway Festival starts today, Patrick Mullins bids to win the amateur riders’ handicap at Galway for the first time after 13 failed attempts…

Today is also the first day of the Goffs Doncaster Summer sales, we will be there on Tuesday and Wednesday.

We have a runner today at Market Rasen, MISSTHECUDDLES runs in the 12:50 Mares’ Novices’ Hurdle. Tom Bellamy takes the ride. Tom replaces Kielan who is still injured.

We hope to run horses at Bangor on Wednesday depending on who gets in.
