It was good that we finally had some much needed rain over the past few days. Although it’s lovely to have some hot weather it means less runners. The ground has had firm in the description pretty much everywhere last week.

We intend to run Homing Star and Fleeting Visit at Uttoxeter on Monday.

It was great to host a gallop morning for members of BDR Syndicates this morning. The owners watched their horses on the gallop and were given a tour of the yard. BDR Syndicates run the syndicates that own Calum Gilhooley. Ajay’s Ways and ‘Baby Ben’. If you haven’t heard of BDR Syndicates I’d suggest you check them out!

Another new horse arrived this morning, we purchased Lot 377 at the Goffs Ireland sale yesterday. He’s a nicely related son of Mahler out of a half sister to Holly Bush Henry and Zulu Dawn. Holly Bush Henry was a great horse for us and we think a lot of Zulu Dawn.

It’s great to have Elk Bridge and Passing Shadow back in the yard, they arrived earlier this week. Both of them look fantastic!

Here are some pictures from this morning, have a great weekend!
